Driver's License moves to Herndon Building

Driver's license renewal is now located in The Herndon Building located at 102 North Court Square Abbeville, AL 36310. Here you can renew your license or change your address as long as you currently have an Alabama Driver's License. They are open Monday-Friday from 8am to 4pm. An ALEA State Trooper must issue you your driver's license if one of the following is true: - transferring from another state and needing an Alabama Driver's License - changing their name on their driver's license because of marriage, divorce, etc. - 1st time getting a driver's license, learner's permit, ID card, Star ID, or CDL - adding an endorsement such as Vessel, Motorcycle, etc. to license Since there is no State Trooper's office in Henry County, one does visit us only on WEDNESDAYS from 8am-12pm and 1pm-3pm located in the Annex building in Abbeville (behind Bank South and across the street from Abbeville Police Department). If Wednesdays will not work for you, any ALABAMA State Trooper's office will work as well.
