The Daylily Art & Garden Festival will be Saturday, May 21, 10am-3pm, on the square in downtown Headland.
The festival will feature a Youth Art Contest and Show, garden-related crafts like birdhouses and wind chimes, art vendors, daylilies and other plants, gardening products and farmers market vendors. Entertainment by the 98th Army Jazz Band, Headland High School Jazz Band and more will be in the gazebo. Hands-on children’s art and gardening activities will be offered inside the park.
Local daylily growers Bush Gardens, located on Hwy 134 West, will conduct garden tours that day.
The Daylily Art & Garden Festival is sponsored by K-Time Sports & Apparel, Alabama Power, HNB First Bank, Smith’s True Value and Durden Outdoor. The Youth Art Contest is sponsored by Peoples South Bank.
